Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the UYWNI mobile apps, web app, and website at uywni.com (the "Services"), operated by UYWNI ("we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy at https://uywni.com/privacy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use UYWNI. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older.
• You must provide accurate registration information and keep it updated.

2. Accounts & Security

• You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account.
• Do not share your password. Notify us promptly at support@uywni.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for other users.
• You may delete your account at any time (in-app Settings → Account → Delete Account, or via uywni.com/delete-account).

3. The Services

UYWNI provides social networking and related features, including feeds, stories, short-form video, profiles, messaging, voice/video calls, Discover/World News, Job Marketplace, and optional paid verification/subscription features where offered.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

4. User Generated Content (UGC) — Apple Guideline 1.2

UYWNI hosts content created by users. You retain ownership of content you post, but you grant UYWNI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely to operate and promote the Services.

A. Prohibited content and conduct

You agree not to post, share, or engage in anything that:

• Is defamatory, abusive, harassing, threatening, or bullying
• Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or exploits minors in any way
• Promotes violence, terrorism, self-harm, or illegal activity
• Contains hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar protected characteristics
• Infringes intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
• Is spam, scam, malware, phishing, or deceptive
• Impersonates others or misrepresents your identity in a harmful way
• Attempts to bypass safety systems, scrape the Services unlawfully, or disrupt infrastructure

B. Zero tolerance & moderation tools

• Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users.
• Report: users can report posts, profiles, jobs, messages, and other content via in-app reporting.
• Block: users can block others to limit further contact and visibility.
• Enforcement: we aim to review reports and take action (including removing content and suspending/terminating accounts) as soon as reasonably possible, and typically within 24 hours for actionable reports of objectionable content.
• We may remove content or restrict accounts without prior notice when needed for safety or legal compliance.

5. Messaging & Calls

• Messages and calls are for lawful personal or professional communication only.
• Do not use messaging/calls to harass, threaten, spam, or share illegal content.
• Encrypted messaging is provided to help protect conversation content; metadata needed to deliver messages and notifications may still be processed. See our Privacy Policy.
• If you lose device access or encryption keys, some chat history may be unrecoverable.

6. Job Marketplace

• UYWNI is a venue for job listings and applications. We are not an employer or employment agency for listings posted by users.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of listings or applicant qualifications.
• You must perform your own due diligence before hiring or accepting work.
• Job posts and applications must be truthful and lawful; fraudulent listings are prohibited.

7. World News / Discover

Third-party news and links may appear in Discover. UYWNI does not control third-party sites and is not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. Accessing third-party content is at your own risk.

8. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

• Optional paid features (such as verification / BlueMark subscriptions) may be offered via Apple App Store or Google Play.
• Payments, renewals, cancellations, and refunds for store purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their terms. Manage subscriptions in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
• We may change pricing or offerings prospectively with notice where required.

9. Intellectual Property

The Services, branding, design, and original UYWNI content (excluding user content) are owned by UYWNI and its licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or exploit the Services except as allowed by these Terms or applicable law.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UYWNI AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES.

OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO UYWNI FOR THE SERVICES IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50, EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify UYWNI against claims arising from your content, your use of the Services, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, risk to users, or legal reasons. Provisions that by nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, limitations, and indemnity) will survive termination.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where UYWNI operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence apply.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version at https://uywni.com/terms and updating the "Last Updated" date. Material changes may also be notified in-app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
